INSULATION PIR

Product description

The choice of an appropriate insulation solution increases the operating comfort of the building. The main parameter of insulation is, of course, the coefficient of thermal conductivity, but when choosing the material, attention should also be paid to such aspects as the condensation of water vapor on the surface and in depth and the reaction to fire class. Polyisocyanurate (PIR) panels are one of the most modern insulation materials available on the market.

Polyisocyanurate plates are characterized by a very low coefficient of thermal conductivity, even at the level of λ = 0.022 W / mK. Due to the wide variety of coatings, they have a very wide range of applications: from flat and sloped roofs to interior and exterior walls, to foundation and floor insulation.

In addition to excellent thermal parameters, this product is characterized by resistance to fungi and microorganisms and high resistance to moisture at the same time. The high rigidity and resistance to damage of PIR panels results in a durable and easy to install insulating layer.

    ADVANTAGES OF PIR PANELS:

Thermal insulation at the highest level – PIR panels are one of the best thermal insulation solutions available in the construction market. They offer much better efficiency than standard solutions such as polystyrene or mineral wool
Elimination of thermal bridges – the possibility of using PIR panels in the rafter system helps eliminate thermal bridges in roof structures
Simple assembly – the polyisocyanurate sheets are extremely light, thanks to this they do not weigh down the structure and they are very easy to install
High resistance – PIR insulation is characterized by high durability throughout the period of use. Its value is also high dimensional stability over a wide range of temperatures
High microbiological resistance – This type of insulation is characterized by high resistance to fungi, lichens and mosses. It is also moisture resistant – its water absorption is less than 2%.
